 All of our Cedar Strip Canoe's are hand built from western red cedar and beautiful select wood (typically cherry, mahogony, spruce) for the trim. Solid full length strips are used, with no scarf joints. 6 oz. fiberglass cloth and West Systems epoxy for the highest quality. The finished canoe will receive several coats of marine spar varnish with uv inhibitors to ensure a long life with little maintenance.

Our Cedar and Canvas Canoes are hand built from white cedar, beautiful select wood(typically cherry, mahogony, spruce) for the trim and tapered white cedar ribs. We pre-seal the entire canoe, before the high quality #10 duck canvas is treated and painted with several coats of enamel. The finished canoe will receive a linseed oil mixture and varnished.
